Versetta stone over ICF?

vm_builders | Posted in General Questions on

We used Fox blocks for our foundation, with advanced framing and zip above. There’s 1-2 feet of foundation above grade, with dimple mat going to within 6″ of top, and an adhesive flashing from top of foundation to over dimple, and metal flashing over that. Now I’d like to put a nice veneer on the foundation before we do the exterior insulation and siding above it. Any issues this group could think of with using versetta stone, making sure to hold it back 6″ from grade (which will be crushed gravel)? The fox blocks rep said he didn’t see any issue with attaching it to the ICF webbing, but want to make sure I’m not missing any potential issues…

I would look into the weight of the Versetta Stone and compare that to the weight limits of the ICF plastic strap. It should be fine, but I would think the ICF webbing has some sort of max weight listing, and a minimum fastener diameter based on the cladding weight.
