Allison Bailes did an article somewhere on GBA about load calc or boiler sizing etc..

there is a very nice weather stats webpage there. I can’t remember what it is.

does anyone recall?

With an s, weatherspark. Glad you found it--it's not as good as it used to be, but I still like the climate overview they provide.
