The two shed sellers near my place has Duratemp and LP Smartside, is one better than the other in terms of durability?

    Joe,
Roseburg Duratemp looks like a type of T-111 siding. This type of siding is usually used on inexpensive buildings.

LP Smartside siding comes in many configurations. Some are panel siding (basically, T-111), while others are more elegant versions (like lap siding).

If you are comparing two different brands of panel siding (T-111), I don't really have any evidence that one type is better than another.
