Who recycles post-consumer vinyl in Pa.?

GBA Editor | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

The Vinyl Institute does not, and what about old window glass? As a remodeler I replace lots of doors and windows. I scrap whatever I can but vinyl and glass are a problem.

    A database of vinyl recyclers can be found here:
    http://www.vinylinfo.org/Recycling/VinylRecyclingDirectory.aspx

    According to the database, three recyclers in Pennsylvania accept post-consumer vinyl waste. They are:
    * Accurate Recycling Corporation, 508 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA 19050.(610) 623-7772.
    * L&P Plastics, 1208 Twelve Oaks Court, Murrysville, PA 15668. (724) 325-2260.
    * WEA, Inc., 1400 East Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant, PA 18447. (717) 383-3504.
