I am doing a major remodel and addition to my house. Here’s the proposed floor plan.

It's not clear exactly what information you seek, and you didn't mention your climate zone, or heating/cooling needs, or site conditions, or foundation system (slab? crawl space? basement?), or attic, or what's existing and what is proposed, but I'll give my two cents' worth:
1. Add closets to bedrooms
2. Add closets to entry areas
3. Mechanical room?
4. Solar orientation?
5. Glazing?
6. Wall section type?
To benefit from the folks who are far more expert than I and who contribute to this blog, you really should offer up much more information.
Your new family room will be dark/gloomy and having a diagonal travel path through the center of it will be difficult to furnish and uncomfortable to use.
