Would you reuse these old rock wool batts, or chuck them?

I was planning on throwing these out and buying new fiberglass batts as part of my attic reinsulation job. As you can see, they are dirty, somewhat compressed and gouged up. They’re pretty old too—likely as old as the house.

Would you reuse them or chuck them?

    I'm super stingy and always recycle, but insulation is all about even surfaces and no air voids. Looks like that would be difficult with these. Great for a hunting shack but not a home. PK
