Charles Hendricks, AIA, CSI, CDT, CGP, CAPS, LEED AP B&C is an architect and partner of The Gaines Group Architects. The firm specializes in sustainable design with LEED and EarthCraft certifications, and Energy Star projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial segments. Hendricks has dedicated his professional life to learning as much as possible about building science and functional design solutions. His formal education is from Virginia Western College, the University of Virginia School of Architecture, and the University of Tennessee School of Architecture. Hendricks is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute, American Institute of Architects, National Home Builders Association, Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, Harrisonburg Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, and the Shenandoah Valley Partnership.
