Adhesion of SMP adhesives like Prosoco Joint & Seam on painted wood?

finePNW | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

I am planning to use Prosoco Joint & Seam to seal up some gaps in sheathing after applying an elastomeric acrylic lead-paint encapsulation product. Basically, I’m curious if anyone has experience with the adhesion of J&S or a similar Silyl-Terminated-Polymer (SMP) products to flat acrylic paint.

Its adhesion to wood is absolutely insane — while peeling it off OSB during a test, it pulled pieces of the test-OSB off with it! I plan to try it on some encapsulant as soon as I can, but wonder if anyone has immediate thoughts or experience.
