Announcing a new GBA feature
It’s going to take a while for GBA veterans to figure out how to navigate the new GBA site. I’m still figuring it out myself. The site includes several significant improvements.
One of the site’s new features isn’t very obvious, so I’d like to point it out. The GBA site how has “Category” pages — basically, there are topic pages that list important articles related to a single topic. Some of these pages have links to 10, 20, 0r even 30 articles, all grouped by topic.
Here is a sample of some of the topics:
- Air Barriers and Air Sealing
- Air conditioning
- Appliances and Plug Loads
- Attics
- Basements and Crawl Spaces
- Beginners and homeowners
- Book Reviews
- Cellulose insulation
… and many more.
How do you access these pages? Go to the home page and scroll down until you see a box labeled “Browse By Category.” Then click on the smaller box labeled “View Category Pages.”

These "Category" pages won't be static. Over time, the pages will gain more depth and usefulness, as new articles (and more introductory material) continue to be added.
Those are great collections, thanks for pointing them out. Might consider adding that navigation to the main menu so its easier for everyone to find.
