Embedding Moisture Sensors into an Assembly

BirchwoodBill | Posted in General Questions on

Starting to work on upgrading my home automation system to newer technologies.   Currently using Accurite to monitor temperature and RH in my attic, garage and crawl space. Was looking at the EnOcean IOT and saw a number of sensors that could actually embedded into an assembly, such as an infamous cathedral ceiling.

Was wondering, if other people have done that and if it was working as advertised.

I'm pretty sure this is something builder Ben Bogie does with the moisture sensors he uses. I'll ask for his thoughts and get back to you.

Thanks! I looked at the OmniSense in his article, will see if they can provide feedback into a dehumidifier controller.
