1 – What should the rough opening be around a basement window in a finished room?
CZ 6a
Window will be uPVC and used as an emergency exit for a downstairs office/bedroom. I plan to insulate the interior walls of the basement with rigid foam against the concrete and then have a 2×4 stud wall.
My gut tells me that I need treated 2 by stock in the opening.
Anything else?
