Community and Q&A

Does anybody here own one of the LG Art Cool Premier units that can modulate down to 1023 btu (or lower)?

LG Art Cool Premier can supposedly modulate all the way down to 1023 Btu in both heating and cooling modes (it can actually go even lower than 1023 in heating mode when it’s cold outside). But is supposedly pretty inefficient / bad COP when it’s operating at that low of an output: https://ashp.neep.org/#!/product/31912/7/25000/95/7500/0///0

Just curious if anybody own ones and can comment on how well it performs.  Would especially be curious to know if anybody is logging room temperature and/or power consumption and can comment on whether the extremely bad efficiency at the lowest outputs reported by NEEP is actually accurate.  I mean, it’s supposedly less efficient than an electric space heater under some conditions!
