Foam sandwich fix

RobertBlair | Posted in General Questions on

We have discovered that our cathedral ceiling has polyiso at the sheetrock level with 2 inch rigid under sheathing with fiberglass in the middle. I have looked at related articles and it seems adding rigid on top of sheathing might remedy this in zone 5. Thanks in advance

It would be helpful if you would post the specific layers of your roof, either from outside to inside or inside to outside, including all structural portions, and whether there is any intentional venting.

Sheetrock, 1 Inch polyiso, 10 inches fiberglass, 2 inches polyiso, plywood sheathing asphalt singles no venting

        Is the polyiso foil-faced?
