Heating and Cooling with Ductless Minisplit System

Project42day | Posted in General Questions on

My house has the original radiator hydronic style heating system. It is 2022, am hoping there are new products out. I have tight small wall space to fit the interior units in our old house. 9″ distance between wide window woodwork and ceiling. Might have to redesign original woodwork? Could redo window trim to gain a wdith of 12″ window frame to ceiling?  Can anyone reccommend systems with smaller size units? Are there ceiling mounted versions that might work? No limit on the exterior of the house. Thanks

Have you thought about an in-ceiling unit?

      Yes, indeed.

    Ceiling mounted units: https://www.mitsubishicomfort.com/residential/products/ceiling-cassette-hvac?modelID=MLZ

Floor mounted units (perhaps you have room where you currently have a radiator): https://www.mitsubishicomfort.com/residential/products/floor-mount-hvac

Perhaps one of those approaches might be useful?
