Heat pump acoustic covers

orange_cat | Posted in General Questions on

I see that in Europe where the local codes are fairly strict, there are manufacturer’s approved/made acoustic heat pump covers which take down the sound by 10-16 dBa.

See this for Daikin:

Or this for Mitsubishi
https://www.ambientacoustics.co.uk/

(there are also french, italian, and german versions).
But I see nothing like this in North america (canada ideal, US is great too).

Did I miss a supplier in my search or does anyone know a commercial supplier who does/can make a residential cover?

Ordering a flat pack unit from Europe seems crazy and I am concerned about snow/ice in my zone, so would prefer a solution tested for snowy climate.
