Renovating a home in climate zone 3.  The home has brick trim on the top of the parapet wall.  The bricks were placed directly on the top of the wood of the ballon framed wall.  We are replacing the roof.  Metal cap  flashing was then placed over the brick.

I would like to continue the same detail but add flashing under the brick.  Can someone suggest a good detail for this?
