Knauf Fiberglass is looking for your suggestions

Martin Holladay | Posted in Energy Efficiency and Durability on

Today Chris Brown, the director of training and field support for Knauf Insulation, posted a long comment on Carl Seville’s recent blog about sloppy fiberglass batt installations. (You can read Carl’s blog and Chris Brown’s comment by clicking here.)

Brown wrote, “We wish to extend an open invitation for any or all of you to join us for an open conversation … relative to the quality application of insulation products. … Knauf Insulation prefers to take a proactive approach and is interested in working with those such as yourselves who have been vocal with regards to poor workmanship, uninformed or poorly informed inspectors, the plusses and minuses of varying insulation products and or systems, and how those directly relate to the system performance of a structure.”

OK, GBA readers — here’s your chance. Post your suggestions to Chris Brown and others at Knauf. He’s all ears. (I got the ball rolling by posting four of my own suggestions.)

Here's a suggestion: post your comments on the page with Carl's blog, not here.
