Loud Minisplit Pump

user-7022518 | Posted in General Questions on

We just moved into our pretty good house and love it–however, the condensate pumps on our ductless minisplits are loud enough to wake us up in the middle of the night. They are made by Aspen–the mini white 83939. We now understand that the gravity feed would have been a better option but the installer did offer this to us. Does anyone know of condensate pumps that are quiet?

All condensate pumps make noise. None will ever be quiet enough if the mini split is in your bedroom. If you have a thermostat, you can program the minisplit to turn off when you go to sleep.

Gravity drain to outside, nearby floor or washing machine riser is the quiet option.
