Open-cell spray foam at high elevation

user-1147510793 | Posted in General Questions on

A contractor recently told me that his insulation sub does not recommend using open-cell spray foam over 4,500 ft elevation.  They are recommending closed-cell spray foam instead.  I’ve never heard of this before — Could someone please explain?  Thanks
