Options for exterior foam

Hello-
Many years ago when I was building log homes we had a foam product that had tongue and groove ends and channels routed into it for 2×4. I am located near Boston MA and wonder if anyone knows of a supplier for a similar project.

Your product description does not ring a bell for me, but I wanted to give your post a bump in case someone else recognizes the product you are referring to.
Also, if you describe what you are trying to do, perhaps we could recommend alternate options.
You can get XPS with tongue and groove channels, but it’s usually a special order item and costs more. I’m not aware of anything that is pre-notched to fit around 2x4s though.
