Porcelain countertops: Florim Stone

Yupster | Posted in General Questions on

Has anyone here used porcelain countertops?  They are new to our area.  The product I’m looking at is Florim Stone.  Is working with it essentially like working with large format porcelain tile?

The reason I’m asking is because I suffer from a desire to try my hand at everything.  My family is full of contractors and we like trying and learning new things.  Never done our own stone countertops but we have worked with lots of tile.  Trying to decide if we could fabricate our own countertops for our house.  I could use some input on the workability of this material if anyone here has any info to share.  Thanks in advance!

    Hey Yupster.

That's nice looking stuff. Unfortunately, I have no experience with it, nor do I know any professionals who have mentioned using it.
