Proper installation of DuroVent foam insulation baffles

In anticipation of a potential roof leak, should DuroVent foam roof ventilation baffles be in installed in shingle fashion to collect water at the bottom?

    Brian,
    In my opinion, it doesn't really matter. An argument can be made that if you have a roof leak, it's advantageous to discover the leak quickly, and to know its location.

    Six to one and half a dozen to the other.

    I think it's more important to pay attention to airtightness. Tape the seams between sections of the DuroVent baffles for a superior installation.
