I have zero knowledge of wood stoves, but having said that, the code does not mix make-up air for fireplaces, wood stoves, whole house or ERVs and HRVs with kitchen make-up air. Its two completely different issues and codes.
2015 IRC M1503.4 Makeup Air Required: Exhaust hood systems capable of exhausting in excess of 400 cubic feet per minute (0.19 m3/s) shall be mechanically or naturally provided with makeup air at a rate approximately equal to the exhaust air rate.
All range manufacturers should provide the minimum required exhaust hood cfm, which in turn you must apply M1503.4.
