Recycled Foam board insulation

rhayes20 | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

Hello there,

I am trying to find a supplier for recycled foam board insulation in California. Does anyone know of a company dealing with recycled EPS or Blue board?

Thanks,
Ryan

Lots of people find reclaimed insulation on Craigslist.

It's a big state. If the foam reclaimer is in Truckee and you're in San Diego, do you really care?

How about a hint as to your location?

Stephen, thank you, craigslist is a good idea however we are looking for a more consistent supplier.
Dana, we are in northern Cali above Eureka, and ideally a supplier closest to that would be best, but we are hoping for large quantities and consistent supplies so proximity is not a deal breaker...
    I appreciate the replies, thanks!

These folks up I5 in Portand (OK so it's only what, 400 miles, give or take? :-) ) consistently deal in large quantities of reclaimed foam:

Did anyone ever identify (consistent) dealers of reclaimed insulation in California? (I'm in the San Francisco area.)
    Thanks
