Stone Veneer Under Patio Meets Concrete Flashing

TronPlayer | Posted in General Questions on

I plan to install brick veneer on a wall under a front porch cover like shown in the attached photo. I was planning on installing a layer of felt over the Zip sheathing, followed by lath, scratch coat, and then apply the stone veneer from top to bottom (where it will meet with the concrete porch at the bottom, sealed with mortar). I will have a sill pan under the door, along with z flashing at the base of the sheathing installed with the bottom leg of the flashing embedded with sealant in a groove cut in the concrete. I’ve installed it like this several years ago but now I’m reading about new methods. Is this sufficient or do I need any additional steps for proper water intrusion. I’m under the 2018 IBC.
