Wall Assembly for Southeast

Hey folks
Looking for feedback on this wall assembly in New Orleans. Thanks!

Hardie clapboard siding
1x vertical rainscreen
taped zip sheathing
open cell spray foam to code (R13)
sheetrock

Questions:
Should I be using closed cell?
Do I even need the rain screen since I’m using Hardie? Would hydrogap suffice?

    The Hardie docs recommend the rainscreen in your area (page 2):

    Otherwise it looks like a fairly standard assembly.
