The BS* + Beer Show: Solar Power Storage and Backup

A technical dive into products, systems, and applications for storing solar energy

This episode of the BS* + Beer show features John Semmelhack of Think Little and Comparetto Solutions and Alex Lepore from Fortress Power discussing “Solar Power Storage and Backup.” Topics include battery management systems, the chemical makeup of different battery types, the potential of leasing battery storage, smart electrical panels, large-scale integration of solar panels and battery storage, ways to create redundancy, off-grid solutions, and much more. (Tech nerds will love this one.)

Enjoy the show!

Join us on December 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. ET for a conversation about “Foamed Glass Aggregate” with Archie Filshill and Theresa Loux of AeroAggregates and Glavel’s Ken Mincar and Rob Conboy. The ultra-lightweight material is made from 100% recycled container glass and is valued for its low unit weight, inertness, high permeability, and insulating properties. We will learn about the types of products on the market and their various applications.
