cadet wall heater

Will be installing a cadet wall heater in a bedroom. There is a space between the closet door and my desk where it would fit nicely. However, if the closet door was opened all the way (180 degrees), the heater would be blocked. It is easy enough to just never open the door that far, but would that placement violate a code, or eventually be a ding on an inspection?
