corner protector

charles3 | Posted in General Questions on

I’m putting some polyiso board beneath a door threshold. The edge of the board is going to get a lot of abuse there, so I need a corner protector that’s at least 2″ x 2″. What would be the cheapest yet durable angle material to use?

I would probably use some PVC trim board here, which can be found in extruded angle profiles. It’s probably not the absolute cheapest option, but it’s durable and readily available.

Thanks, but a board seems much to thick since it would create a tripping hazard. To be safe, it should be no thicker than the aluminum threshold, which is 7/16".
