Dense packed cellulose blower – Older Force 2 vs Krendl 425

JMRtbay | Posted in General Questions on

I’m considering purchasing an adequate blower for dense packing cellulose in my “Pretty gooder House” build. In my area of the world, dense packing cellulose is rare and no contractors do it. I’ve found a reasonable priced Force 2 blower. This is an original (green) model, that has an upgraded agitator, upgraded 2 stage blower and the hardwired remote. The seller states the airlock seals were done recently. The seller also claims it will highly out perform the Krendl 425. I’ve attached photos of the upgraded blower specs. For reference, the seller wants $3500 CAD ($2500USD).

My local HD rents the Krendl 425. I’ve heard of people successfully dense packing with this blower.

Can anyone offer some advice on which would be the more capable blower? Obviously the rental blower would be much cheaper. I’m not sure how easily I could re sell the Force 2.
