Faced or Unfaced EPS in Basement

BTremp | Posted in General Questions on

Howdy!  I am getting ready to finish our basement interior (just finishing up with excavating and waterproofing the exterior!).  I am looking at using EPS as suggested in the article on dry basements.  Just wondering, should I use faced or unfaced EPS.  I can’t find any that aren’t faced with the plastic liner locally.

You don't want any moisture that's in your concrete to enter your living space. Faced.
