Filter box which side please

I bought an AC Infinity filter box, does it matter if the intake is on the oposite side of this design? Basically air comes in under the filter then goes up instead of how the pic is?

    My wild guess is they have specified air flow direction for a reason like the force of the air keeps the filter seated in the cabinet. If you reverse the flow the force of the air now lifts the filter up allowing air to bypass the filter media.

    Best to ask the manufacture.
