HRV and bathroom ceiling fans

lookloan | Posted in General Questions on

Hi – I figure I am going to have a discussion with a HVAC person and I prefer to get a jump on what is the right answer when blending a HRV system when bathroom fans are installed.  I was reading on GBA that HRV fresh return air usually goes to bedrooms, living room (maybe kitchen) but exhaust air comes from bathrooms, laundry room and kitchen.  I haven’t built in 15 years so with this new build I am trying to get this right as this is my first time – Zone 5 by the way.

My question is I normally put Panasonic quiet fans in bathrooms. This build has 2 1/2 bathroom.  Do I still put in the Panasonic exhaust fans in bathrooms with the HRV in bathrooms? and of course HRV exhaust the  laundry room and kitchen ?  Thank-you.
