Renovating and re-insulating home

weitcani | Posted in Energy Efficiency and Durability on

I am doing a massive renovation of an existing home (solar panels, re-insulating, new windows, new doors, raising the roof) I want to re-insulate the whole house and make is as tight and energy efficient as possible and possibly adding new HVAC energy efficient system (heat recovery system with energy recovery ventilator). My architect is unfamiliar and I need info and expertise rather soon. My house is in Leesburg, Virginia. Can you steer me to a specialist or at least where to gather the information I need. It needs to be incorporated in the design.
Thanks,
Jim Miele

GBA just started a new page of consultants but I can't find it now. Hopefully someone will chime in and tell us all - like new tab on home page. Should be a quick link that everyone sees immediately.

Do a GBA search for "bulletin board." Here is a link: Bulletin board.
