Settling of Cellulose

I like the sounds of blown in cellulose for our dbl 2X4 wall 12″ thick, but what about the settling. I have heard as much as 20% ! Is this a likely possibility?
Also what are peoples preferences regarding installation wet blown in or with the net for our wall type.
