For a discussion of unflanged windows mounted with masonry clips, see this article: ‘Innie’ Windows or ‘Outie’ Windows?
There is a further discussion of using masonry clips to mount unflanged windows in this article: Installing Windows In a Foam-Sheathed Wall.
