Ventilation Strategy using TwinFresh/Lunos and Bath fans

ssbdamion | Posted in General Questions on

Hi all,

3bed, 2600sqft home in Zone 3B (southern California). Home has no attic, no crawlspace so very limited space for any type of ducted ERV.

Luckily, fairly mild year round temperatures should make up for the nonoptimal ventilation plan which is as follows:

Twinfresh/Lunos in 6 locations:  3bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and attached garage to constantly supply fresh air. Approximately 120cfm

Bath fans in 4 locations: 3 bathrooms, 1 attached garage to set to timers to achieve approximately 120cfm extraction.

I’m hoping this will work better than bath fan ventilation only as it will constantly supply all living spaces with fresh air, as opposed to only extracting air from bath fans which will not evenly distribute air in the bedrooms and living spaces.
