What is an energy-efficient refrigerator?
Looking for recommendations for an electric refrigerator to use in a solar-powered (photovoltaic system) house. Will also use a freezer as a separate appliance.

If your home is off-grid, it's hard to beat a Sunfrost model.
If your home is on the grid, I recommend the Hotpoint model HTH17CBC refrigerator with a capacity of 16.5 cubic feet ($626). It has an annual energy use rating of 300 kWh.
