No more importing euro fibreboard?

rocketconstruction | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

We’ve decided to shoot for PHIUS certification on a new build this summer. Our double 2×4 stud walls will be filled with >15″ dense-pack cellulose. We’re thinking of using SONOclimat’s Eco4 fibreboard as sheathing. It’s local (for us), it’s recycled, 26 perms and R4 for 1.5″ and, at 35$ for a 4’x8′ sheet, affordable. Short of hitting up an engineer, I wonder if there is a simple way of determining whether it is robust enough for bracing or whether we need to add some metal strapping.
here are the technical specs.

I’d love some guidance. Thanks!
