Sigh Corvum Tape for Window Sealing

Salesi | Posted in General Questions on

Anybody have practical experience using Siga Corvum tape to seal the interior of the window to the framing? I have 17 windows to seal and was going to use caulk to air seal around the interior of the window. However after seeing an article in JLC recently where they used this tape for air sealing, I am considering using it instead of the caulk. I would need about 5 rolls at 80 feet and over $300 worth the tape. Is it worth it? Seems easy enough to install. Thanks for anyone’s help.

    Hi Salesi,

Martin Holladay explicity recommends that product for use on windows in this article:
    Airtight Window Installations.
