LaCantina bifold patio doors? (vs Nanawall)

oldbungalow | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

Does anyone have experience with LaCantina bifold doors? I’ve seen Nanawall mentioned before but don’t think I’ve seen LaCantina.
Their website shows a Vinyl Bifold glass door, minimum height 7 feet, available in triple pane, with 0.01 cfm per square foot of air infiltration via the “weather resistant” sill. This seems on par or better than the published numbers at Nanawall, and the overall U-factor for the Vinyl is 0.25 for tri-pane. Looks like they’re part of Jeldwen. Assume the vinyl comes at a lower price point.

Sorry that I don't have an answer for you.

If you have not, check out the NFRC Certified Product Directory to be sure you are using their performance criteria to evaluate your options: https://www.nfrc.org/certified-product-directory/.

And unfortunately, the Efficient Window Collaborative online selection tool does not include doors.
