    Santa left me coal
But he said it was clean coal. Should I trust him?

    Cheers
Over the holidays I've spent a couple of pleasant hours reading some of the archived blogs and Q&As. One thing that struck me is the good humour and equanimity with which which Martin responds to his obviously annoyed and vociferous critics. I don't know how he does it. Cheers!

    Ditto
What Malcolm said. Martin, I find it impossible to imagine GBA having flourished so well without the benefit of your patience, wisdom and humor, not to mention your thorough research and your masterly prose - and poetry! Thank you for devoting your considerable talent and energies to such an important resource!

    Thanks
Thanks, Malcolm and James. The GBA web site is what it is because it is a community -- a community with many participants, all helping each other. It's a privilege to be part of it.

    No thank you
    Martin - it's a great service. So remember -

Line up. Sign up. And re-enlist today. Because we need more
schooling, for more students, for Morse Science High.

    GBA
This is a great site, I need to spend more time here, so much to learn. Funny story, there is a very popular financial forum that I read every few days, there are something like 1200 new posts daily. They allow consumer type posts as well as financial. Someone started a thread about building a new house and mentioned BSC and GBA and said "Green Building Advisor is OK but there are some real hacks over there. Much more professional and useful advice is available from Building Science". Of course I went to bat for GBA and mentioned that "there are a lot of very knowledgeable people at GBA and that a lot of the BSC people participate at GBA,"

GBA is actually mentioned on the site quite often.
